Hello, all! We are coming around the final stretch! Friday is the last day! If you have completed your goal and have not yet let me know (especially those who are not doing their stats on line--hopefully you are checking the website) please do so I can prepare your certificates. If you are reading up to the last minute, try to let me know by Friday afternoon.

Don't forget, we are having a talent show "Get Wild & Strut Your Stuff!" as our program finale on Friday, August 15th at 6:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, across the street from the library. We now have a nice-sized group signed up. Talent-show participants: please keep your performances to five minutes or less. Let me know NOW if you can't participate as I am about to prepare the program. There are a few people who are not sure what they are doing for the show. Let me know that as well. Thank you!

All of you are invited, of course, to be a part of the audience. For visual artists in our community, we will be displaying art work at the library, so tell me if you'd like to be part of the exhibit. There will also be presentations, certificates, and of course, our annual delicious treat to be named later. Thank you Reverend Buchanan, church trustees, staff, and members for their generosity in donating the space for this event.
