If you are registering from an AOL account, their SPAM filter will block your registration. Please use a different web mail or register at the library. Okay everyone, get ready! So far we have over 175 children signed up! We are working the bugs out of this on-line log and want you to call us at 458-5369 with any questions or problems you may have. Anyone who would like to join us for the 4th of July parade can meet up on the lawn of Thompson Memorial Chapel (the big grey church on Rte.2)at 10:30 on Friday. The parade committee lets us slip in there because the walk from Southworth St. is to hot for some very small marchers. Wear cool clothing, something with an animal print? Don't miss Davis Bates and Roger Tincknell in their performance "Wild About Reading" here at the Milne (in the courtyard) on Saturday, July 12 at 11 a.m. We'll also have "wild whiskers" face-painting and light refreshments to celebrate the summer and reading.
Mondays are "Lunch with the Librarians." Bring a snack or light lunch in a brown bag at noon and we will lounge around under the trees talking books. It's been rainy enough to move this event indoors in case of bad weather. Hope to see you here.
Wild Reads at the Milne runs June 30 to August 15.
ReviewsReview: creepy, and weird but cool Review: I LIKE THIS BOOK BECAUSE I THINK IT IS HAPPY THAT MOLE FINDS A NEW HOME TO LIVE IN WITH THE RIVER RAT. I LIKE WHEN THEY GO TO BADGER'S HOUSE IN THE WILD WOODS.
