With grant funding provided by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners in the spring of 2007, the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems licensed software from E-vanced Solutions to provide their "Summer Reader" software to every public library in the state beginning with the 2007 statewide summer reading program and continuing for the next two years.
This means that if you decide to use the online program, you and your patrons can do SRP registration, tracking of their reading via an online reading log, and manage prizes very easily. Reporting your statistics will be a breeze! Plus, if you choose, your patrons can submit book reviews to you to consider for display in the system!
The software will be available year-round, so you can use it anytime -- for winter reading programs, Massachusetts Children's Book Award programs, Adult Reading programs -- the sky's the limit!
